The case mix is extremely diverse which makes it great for providers who want exposed to many different experiences. We have state of the art equipment.
Our scheduling system allows for some reasonable and rational flexibility. It is a huge satisfaction component for our team of CRNAs.
The hospital is a beautiful setting to work with an outdoor walking track and exercise equipment on this path. It has an indoor gym available to providers as well.
Our relationship with our MDAs does not promote competition. Our MDAs encourage CRNAs to do blocks and lines if it is within their skill set.
Experience is preferred of course. Our dream provider is one that wants to be part of a team who support and help each other. We have a team of providers who do this, and we strive for a drama-free department with a teamwork approach.
We perform almost all regional blocks that are available to patients. Our ultrasound equipment is brand new this year. (ESP blocks, femoral, fascial ileocal, epidurals, spinals, popliteal, subclavicular, TAP blocks, etc.)
MDs and CRNAs do blocks within their skillset. If they are proficient with a certain block it is encouraged to participate.
Care team model. 1 MDA - 6 CRNAs now (this changed when our model for MDAs changed)
